A message from the Resus @ The Park Conference Chair, Clinical Associate Professor Paul Middleton

On behalf of Resus @ The Park and Take Heart Australia, I want to invite to you and your colleagues to Sydney’s largest and most innovative Conference on the art and science of resuscitation and emergency medicine.

The Conference will be held along Sydney’s iconic foreshore at Luna Park from 31 May – 2 June 2017.

R@TP and Take Heart Australia are delighted that experts in various aspects of resuscitation, emergency medicine, critical care, trauma, cardiology and paediatrics from across the world have agreed to share their knowledge of the innovations and advances in health systems, urgent patient treatment and resuscitation science.

The Conference is designed to inform, educate and excite all who work in the field of resuscitation, prehospital and emergency care – nurses, paramedics, educators, doctors, administrators, community first-responders, rescue and retrieval specialists, military medics and uniquely for a resuscitation conference, members of the general public.

The unique significance of the conference is demonstrated by the extraordinary line-up of experts who have offered to speak, many whom are household names in the world of resuscitation.

On the day prior to the Conference, a demonstration, media and workshop day will be held at Luna Park, showcasing the work of organisations and emergency services. A number of workshops will be taking place on the training day, including sessions in ultrasound, echocardiography, trauma management, deteriorating patient identification and advanced life support.

This experience is the ideal opportunity to share knowledge, discuss current issues and debate future solutions with peers and industry alike. The Conference will be complemented by a dynamic social program including a Welcome Reception and an optional themed Gala Dinner.
